Training

Mito apprenticeships

We offer all our mechanical staff at CCW a Level 3 Mito New Zealand Certificate in Light Automotive Engineering. Many have furthered their expertise with Level 4 and Level 5 certifications in Light Automotive Engineering, and some have attained Level 5 qualifications in automotive electrical engineering as well. We actively support continuous professional development by offering Mito training programs, enabling our staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in automotive engineering beyond their initial qualifications.

WOF training

At CCW, we have many Warrant of Fitness (WOF) certified mechanics and we extend this expertise externally through NZTA, offering comprehensive WOF training to individuals seeking to enhance their skills and qualifications in automotive safety assessment.

Additional Training

At CCW, we provide extended training services that exceed standard requirements, in-house health and safety training, advanced driving training, and fire safety training. These programs not only enhance the skills and knowledge of our staff but also reinforce a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement within our workplace.

Staff Benefits

Staff Discount Schemes

We have a tiered staff discount system within CCW with 3 levels based on the length of employment. These tiers offer greater and greater discounts with our local parts suppliers.

EAP services

We provide EAP services for all our staff. At CCW we understand that health and wellbeing is not just physical but mental too. EAP services allow for us to take a proactive and preventative approach to the mental wellbeing of our staff. EAP offers a variety of services including career, financial and legal guidance, counseling services and fitness and wellbeing coaching.

Our Culture

At CCW our jobs do not begin and end in the workshop. We are involved in the entire Vehicle Compliance Supply Chain from the moment the vehicle is unloaded at the Port to the time it gets delivered to our client's doorstep. Therefore, CCW pride ourselves on our ability to provide automotive careers in not only the workshop, but in transport, operations and administration divisions as well.

Having a diverse staff at CCW brings a wealth of perspectives and experiences to the workplace, fostering creativity and innovation in our projects and solutions. Different ages, genders, and ethnicities contribute unique insights that enhance our problem-solving abilities and decision-making processes. This diversity also promotes a more inclusive and supportive environment where everyone feels valued and respected, leading to higher morale and productivity among our team members.
